Buy 4WD Recovery Gear online with Wet Tech Rigging! The same splicing techniques used for marine gear can be applied to 4WD recovery equipment. Dyneema is fast becoming the standard for this application due to it's lightweight, reliability, ease of handling, safety and maintenance free qualities.
Designed to be anchored to the front corners of the car via a Recovery Soft Shackle, the 4WD recovery bridle harnesses the enormous strength and abrasion resistance of Dyneema or UHMWPE, with the added protection of a chafe guard at the load point. Constructed from top quality line and 800mm of Polyester cover (Standard) or Dyneema cover (Premium) at the bridle centre point, these bridles have massive safe working loads which are enough to haul any 4WD out of a sticky situation.
Our standard Recovery Bridles are available in 2.5, 3.0 and 3.5m standard lengths, and our standard Recovery Soft Shackles are available in standard 6mm x 100mm, 8mm x 120mm & 10mm x 200mm sizes - but custom lengths, strengths and colour schemes are available on request.
Options Include:
- Galvanised Steel or Stainless Steel Thimbles spliced into bridle loops
- Dyneema chafe guard at bridle load point for extra abrasion resistance
- Urethane rope coating in a number of colours
